|Seemingly to have become a stay at home grandma as of late, I haven't much time to get out and take new photos. But I did get outside yesterday with a lens I hardly EVER use and found these roses blooming on the fence. Sure was a pretty sight in late October.|

Shelly, you should use this lens more often. I love the vibrant colour. The textures of the petals, and the leaves come across beautifully. It almost leaps off the page. Something in the upper right corner is a little distracting, but because the flower is so focused, it doesn't seem much of a problem, possibly a good case for cloning a little bit of the deep blue from the sky.
Still I love it!

This is really nice! I love the lighting and colors. A perfect flower, very good detail!! TFS and have a happy day!
Nice posting here Shelly! You managed the light well, considering looking up into the sky! But with sun at 90 degrees you did it! There is a special place in my heart for yellow roses, not just because I'm from Texas! Nice work here!

Wonderful macro view of this delicate yellow rose that contrast so brilliantly with the green leafs.
Striking shaprness and details to go along with a lovely bit of complimentary blue sky.
