Collage, Aleksander, my grandson and Iguanas...

Iguana is a genus of lizard native to tropical areas of Central and South America and the Caribbean. The genus was first described by Austrian naturalist Josephus Nicolaus Laurenti in his book Specimen Medicum. The genus Iguana includes two species: the green iguana (a popular pet) and the lesser Antillean iguana.

The American pet trade has put a great demand on the Green iguana; 800,000 iguanas were imported into the U.S. in 1995 alone, primarily originating from captive farming operations based in their native countries Honduras, El Salvador, Colombia, and Panama. However, these animals are demanding to care for properly over their lifetime, and many die within a few years of acquisition.

Hi george

Nice family album shot of the boy amongst the iguanas. Excellent colour, lighting contrasts & sharpness. Tfs!

Ciao George

The beach of iguanas!
A beautiful postcard you have here,
astonished with the colors, details, the bugs, the
beautiful blue sea and your grandson in the middle of iguanas.
Good details in the animal, besides the image shows the habitat well!

Greetings,

Sergio

ciao

Good Morning George,

What a great shot; so perfectly clear and saturated.
Your grandson appears to have many pets!
For me, this is a much better insert which explains the details without upsetting the appreciation of the main shot.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)
