Every time I go to Arkansas I try and get up early to catch the sunrise, before anyone is out. As much as I would love to sleep, and as late as I am up the night before, it is ALWAYS worth it!

Hello Linda,

great capture of the sunrise's reflection in the pond. Lovely composition with the canoes and gazebo on the right. I like the warm colours and the cooler atmosphere with the early morning mist.

Hi Linda,

an image of true peace with an absolutely wonderful light.A light that is reflected, creating an excellent chromatic effect, on the placid waters of the lake.Great the composition, with the artificial elements at the margin leaving room to the splendor of the dawn.

Hi Linda, This one was well worth it. It is great to see you even managed to capture the mist over the water. Fiona

Worth the early rise, Linda.

Sunrise reflected from the lake certainly has me in awe.
The tiny splashes of reds from the life rings on their posts are great, as are the two sitting in the gazebo.

The subtle colours of the tree lined lake offset with the stronger more vibrant blues of the upturned canoes, again a nice touch.
For me, the finishing touch to the shot is the gentle layer of mist just rising from the edge of the lake in the distance.

Beautiful shot,

Martin

Hi Linda,

As the saying goes, "The early birds catches the worm." What a peaceful, beautiful shot. Don't know what kind of processing you did, but this turned out well. Of course it wouldn't have turned out as well without your excellent compositional skills. Thanks for showing use how well you do with Corel PaintShop, I just purchased it and really like its capabilities so far.

Have a nice weekend!

Werner

Bom dia Linda
You have find a light to show your talent. Very beautiful. The light is tender and strong at the same time.

Linda,
A beautiful image with outstanding composition! Love your HDR work - it still looks very natural but with very fine clarity.

I know given a choice I like to get up at the crack of noon! So, I have seen many more sunsets than sunrises.

Nicely Done

Hello Linda,

Wow, what a beautiful sunrise. You've created a peaceful and a bit mistycal atmosphere in this compo; love the soft/warm colours and reflections. The lightmanagement is great.
Beautiful to see in the depth some fogginess over the water.

Excelent compo, regards,
Henri
