Rincon, on the west coast of Puerto Rico, is a surfer's challenge. High above the waves is a garden which, surrounding a lighthouse, is well maintained and full of flowers...such as hibiscus. This is one of them. |

Hi Michael,
This is an unusual macro of a hibiscus plant. Most folks shoot down into the flower, but I think this is the first I've seen from the side. I like the DOF here, with the stamen very sharp, but the background not too blurred. The beach and waves make for a nice backdrop.
TFS,
Werner

Hi Michael,
Very nice colors on the hibiscus and original POV.
Regards,

Hi Michael,
A very good chosen depth of focus !
I like the color of the flower very much. There is a lot of noise in the background, but the colors are good.
TFS.
