This photo is a tribute to Charlie whom we lost this week to cancer. He had a short but wonderful life. 125 lb dog, he brought love and affection to many, many people. Charlie was a dog that truly thought he was a person. A friend took him to a dog park where he ignored all the dogs and wanted to hang out instead with the owners. He looked forward to the weekends where he would trick or treat by going boat to boat at the marina looking for treats. He will be truly missed. Now up in Doggie Heaven he's eating Cheetos and bossing around all the other dogs.... A tribute to Charlie and those who have lost a pet.

Oh Julie, do I ever know your feeling and sadness - there is not much to say to comfort you. - Be happy that you can say - he had wonderful life with him - even it was short. - I love your tribute with the cute picture and I am sure he will not be forgotten.

I think of you - Monika

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news Julie,I know from past images of Charlie how much love you had for him, time is a good healer,& I'm sure if there is a doggie heaven, he will be there.Best Regards

Ron

So sorry for your loss, you have deepest sympathy. Dogs are very precious animals who give unconditional love and always there for you. Nice portrait of Charlie. TFS

Bonjour Julie,

Sorry to ear that. I had a bobtail (Picolo) 8 years ago, and I had to give him away (I was living alone in an appartment and workin about 10-12 hrs per day) to people living in the country, a better place for him. I'll never find a better dog. Anyway, back to your picture, it is a fun image, the orange color brakes the neutrality of all other tones. Normally I suggest people to lower down to the animal level, but in this case with the float around his neck, it amplies the message. regards

Alain

By the way, more humans should take example on Charlie and wear a float when going on a boat ;o)

HI Julie, I feel with you and I´m so sorry to read , that you lost your beloved dog. He will certainly go on living in your heart and even 10 years later he will always be present in your memories. I lost 3 dogs in the past, but they live with us in each corner of our house and souls. This is a wonderful photo of Charlie:-)))
Regards Rose

Hello Julie,
Your note could just as well have been a description of our Mufasa who was an English Bulldog with a personality just like you are describing here. We also lost him to cancer and he left a big void too. He truly thought he was human and well above the rest. And he just loved people. Tender memories are evoked here. Thank you and best wishes.
