[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After long chats with a very good friend. I took a much needed brain brake yesterday and took a LONG drive on our back roads and ended up in (I think) Wrentham, MA.

After stopping at some old farms or just stopping to enjoy the silence of the country!

I noticed this "Stop" sign on a shady hill.. I almost passed it by with just a smile. But then I stopped, jumped out and took some snaps! The message did not really hit me until later last night! Take it for what you will.... Just kids? A tribute to the Band Journey? or could it be something more? Well that is a personal choice....

All day and night I have been walking around singing this song... Journey's Link to you tube

I tried to get the sign to be lighter, but it was in the shade and across the street was in in total sunlight! Any tips ws to approve is much appreciated...

Your photo has brought tears to my eyes once again! Your experience has a "special" meaning in my life! I call them little "God Shots"....almost as if He is saying..."HEY, I'm here"... And so I passed this photo on to my friends who will also greet it with their own tears...of gratitude, understanding, and awe!
Great work here! So glad you are back shooting!

hi tricia, maybe dont stop believing in yourself perhaps, this is one of those moments that could really hit home, a sign, a signal, a message...or one just walks by and doesn't notice but you did and if it make you stop and think then the message worked,
this range of light is tough, to exposure for the sign blows out the background, one could experiment with fill flash, you could get a happy balance from the background to foreground i am sure,

...In yourself... keep on taking photos! I reckon thats the message here Tricia..lol..

Well seen, and it does us good to get out and about by ourselves to snap a few photos..clears the brain...Did you take note how far you had driven after 5 mins?..(hope so).

Well seen, and a colourful post.

Kind regards

I love the message here, Tricia
As to how to improve it? I would make it a little more off centre and maybe add some luminance to the sign alone. But those are small things. I think it stands fine on its own

Hi Tricia,
A great choice--- excellent mood, excellent colors, excellent framing. Nicely done ! TFS Julie

Tricia HI:
Marvelous, just marvelous, amazing image - amazing message.
Congratulations, very well seen and nicely composed and presented
Thanks for the note, as well.

Great find! Nice OOF BG.
I LOVE this Journey song....I remember it from High School!
My favorite part is Neal Schon's guitar works!
I think the frame you chose makes it look like a Polaroid.
I think the sign is light enough.
I think how you've chose to present it off-centered is great....
Thanks for sharing this one!
