[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While out trail running this morning, I turned the corner only to run literally into this deer. There were 3 all together (whenever you see 1 deer, you can always be sure there will be more around), but this one was only about 15 feet away from me and didn't get spooked at all. I shot some video with the canon and also took a couple of shots. Nothing was done to this other than adjusting the levels.

This has such a nice tranquil, calm feeling.
It's great that they are not scared. Means nobody tries to harm them.

What a great capture. I love the expression you caught on the deer's face. I am actually from Ashland, MA, but never recalled seeing any deer when I lived there. You'r quite lucky to be able to see these beautiful animals. Well done.

great shot.
this picture inspired me to let my husband take me out in a deer blind this fall and sit and wait for deer so i can get some shots like this. i'm read yot shoot my first deer...with a camera that is:)
