I know this lighthouse! You've done it justice for sure. Beautiful conversion to HDR. NICE NICE NICE lighting and details. I'm not sure if it's still there after our 6+ inches of rain this weekend (jk)!! Very beautiful and congrats on the ride. TFS Julie
Lovely photo Linda - just lovely light. Well composed, the out of focus sea of grass is great and really adds depth to the scene..
Great to see all the old English town names up in New England ;-) My city is Worcester, England but none of you guys and gals can pronounce it right. Worcester, Massachusetts is a massacre pronounced by an American LOL...

Hi Linda..nice shot...great scene and tones...nicely done.
Nice scenic view and very lovely colours. The light with the sun peeking through the cloud adds to the mood. Hope you are not to tired from that "little bicycle ride. Going "back to work to rest" hope your the boss...(°U°)
the blurred fg has pushed the light house prominently into view. your vignetting has added a feeling of foreboding to the image. could the clouds be ready to empty their wet cargo?
how is your posterior after siiting on a bike for 88 miles?
i wouldn't be able to sit for a month if it were me.

Superb landscape image, although a bit grainy, but it adds an artistic flavor o the picture. Excellent and attractive composition. The blurred foreground takes my eyes to the main object of the lighthouse. A fine post Linda!

I was looking through the gallery and just saw the thumbnail and thought "Holy cow! That's beautiful!" Then I opened it and it is wonderful! Those colors are fabulous. Excellent composition, great depth and I love those warm colored grasses in the FG. Perfect sharpness and clarity, too. Man, that's a pretty shot! Many thanks and warmest regards,
Dramatic sky and a deep, subdued tonality to this shot makes it look very un-HDR, which is a great way to do it! A natural feeling with the relatively narrow DOF, the out-of-focus foreground keeps our eyes on the structures on the hill.

Hi Linda,I really like your composition ,thought the house sits on the third, the Lighthouse just outside of that, really is the focal point & very strong in this scene.I also like your choice of DOF,choosing only, to have the middle & background tack sharp.I think if the foreground grasses had been as sharp, they may have competed to much with the main subject.Good work IMHO.

Hey, Linda -
Great image. The lighthouse is roughly centered but the house to the left of it gives some mass to the left side of the frame leaving nice space for sky, etc. on the right. The effect of the sun on the structures with the darker sky beyond is striking. Very sharp, with warm colors, and nicely exposed throughout.

Very dramatic New-England landscape, very moody with a very clever composition. Good pp work too, well done!

great shot,Im always attracted to lighhouses, most in Ireland are really not accessable, this one is very good, nice bright fore-ground moving on to a darker more moody b/g,very well presented.
