I had to reduce the pixel count from~1800 to ~400 per side to bring the file size down from 4mb to 300kb. This image lost much of its clarity (sharpness). More so than other images that I have uploaded onto Treklens. I will appreciate any tips on how I can do a better job of shrinking file size. Should I have shrank the file before or after performing image processing (e.g. sharpening the image).
