[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I said "sisters" instead of "brothers", because in Mexico, "canicas" is feminine (las canicas); I guess because boys play with them more than girls. After looking at "daisydaisy"┤s photos, I decided to place them on white, better than in a dark background. And, as daisy, less is better.

Love the light piercing through these marble balls bringing superb details of their inner textures, Lorena!
The sharpness and clarity are wlel done, and contrast against the smooth BG are nicely kept.
Good work!

Kind regards,

Hi Maria
nice arrangement for splendid composition. pretty colors well enhance on bright BG.

Hellow Maria,
Another impressive marble image.Simple lay out yet effective.Strong contrasts with the primary colours, pinsharpness on all marbles.

Oh you did a fantastic job !
I like the different graphism of the marbles and the very good sharpness.
This is eye catching, powerful white bg that highlights the colors.
Simple and effective. Love it.

Hi Maria,
My sisters and I are three as well and this image reminds me of us :)
The green marble for my sister Esperanša (hope); the blue one for my sister Anabela who is forever passionate about our beaches; and the red one for me as red has always been one of my favorite colors!
Excelent colors and sharpness in an original presentation. Good decision on the white BG as it may also represent peace and harmony :)

Bonjour Maria Lorena,

In french too "bille" is a feminine word... So you have joined the "marble club" with Raimundo and I.
This presentation is nice too, and sharpness is so good.
My only regret is the reflection of the background (wall or building or table?) inside the canicas. You could have tried a higher pov to get more of the reflection on the surface instead. As Daisy does, you may also use a white sheet of paper.
Nice try anyway.

Hello Maria,

I think those are tiny glass balls if I'm not wrong. Because it's also used in Pakistan for playing by the boys in outdoors.

Nice selection of RGB tones. Simple but good idea. White background is enhancing the beauty of those little objects. A beautiful composition. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Kind Regards,

Years ago when I first started on TL I did a series of photos with marbles as well. Interesting subject hmmm?

I like the simple primary colours you've chosen, on the simple background makes it even better. Nicely focused!
