[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There is no end to the possibilities of transforming wedding photos. I played around with this one. I use "Melancholytron", a purchased Photoshop plug-in. This time I used "Hue" as the blending mode for sepia, and I was pleased with the result. I also used some Gaussian Blur to soften the image, and give it a little glow.

I used a stock Polaroid frame that I picked up on some CD that comes with certain Digital Photo magazines. Please don't ask me where, because I've got piles of magazines and CDs...(pleading smile, fingers crossed, and on my knees...:), because I loaded that frame some time ago. If you do a search on Google, you should be able to find some free ones.

The frame was brought in as a new layer, and I used "free transform" to position it over the main image.

Hello Richard.
Well done here. It has a dream like quality about it: unreal, yet still real enough, at the same time. Having the horizon just about in the middle works well here, even though it breaks normal conventions of composition.
A frame suits the picture very well, although I would personally prefer to see a more symetrical one. For me this lack of centering spoils the image a little, as does the slightly slanting line of the top of the frame. Apart from this, excellent.
Yours, Andrew.

This is incredible. You have a masterpiece on your hands here!

Bonjour Richard,

Dear Richard...Just to think for a moment: Let's assume there are ten millions of wedding photographs
produced all over the world every week. If only 0.1%
of them (10000,) were half as much as beautiful as this one - our world would be a lot prettier than it is now! Just the thought.

excellent composition and presentation richard :)
nice work
