richard ,
she is looking directly to me:-) very nice eyetouch with your camera and looks full of life.pretty b&w,

the black and white works very well . I like the softness and the lighting . However she does not look old enough to be on a ski team?
How did you arrange the lighting ?

Very nice portrait. I like the grains. Very good choice for B&W.

she's a beautiful girl.

Beautiful portrait. BW is suitable.

Very good portrait. I like the aperture you used to make her skin look soft. The light is a little harsh on her nose (try to burn it a little in PhotoShop). Also, the background is a bit distracting. It is usually preferred that the background is monotonous for the photo to be the most effective (nothing should distract the viewer from the main subject).

Nice PP work Richard, I think the subject was well suited for balck and white.
PS pretty young lady too

Very nice portrait Richard. Good expression and very nice BW tones...

Bonjour Richard,
Tres joli clair obscur ! Le detail qui rend la photo superbe c'est les quelques cheveux devant son visage.

Tres belle photo Richard, super bien prise.

Hi Richard, A most appropriate shot for a champion. Great side light and good exposure even on her left side. Great sharpness too. And she certainly smiles like a champion. However, I was rather distracted by the strands of hair which so sharply "scratched" across her face. I suppose a little photo-shopping would solve the problem. Keep documenting your champions, Richard.

This is a lovely portrait - very strong lighting. It flatters her face, and the windows' reflection in her eyes is great.
The background softening is quite visible; there's a lot of noise, but I think it works. Nice work.

richard, u know i really like this BW portrait and also side light, too tight cropping i think but it's good....

beautiful portrait... so fresh :) well done :)

Beau regard, belle lumière... En deux mots... Beau portrait !
