There was quite a breeze on the water and the feathers of the pelicans were caught in the breeze. The shot was taken on Saturday evening and shows the South Saskatchewan River. Shot was cropped from original.

Hello David, three very ruffled pelicans!
Good composition, a little bit of reflection, surrounded by a lovely dark blue stretch of water.

I like to see the three different attitudes of these pelicans, the deep blue of water pleases me very much too.
I think this is a well managed lighting.

I wonder why the water is completely blue. Is it that way or you did some editing.
