For this weeks Theme "So Cold" I thought of converting this to a B&W, but I thought that the little bit of color, helped make the location appear a bit colder than a B&W version would have.

Hello, good choice to keep the color those reds make nice accents.Excellent capture of where you don't want to get stuck.Impressive amount of snow, regards Otto.

Hello Ron

That would be a so cold for me for sure. When I lived in Tennessee, I thought the cold would kill me. Great image for the theme. I agree, the little color adds much to the image.

Hi Ron
A great entry to this weeks theme. I like the red colour in the white surroundings. Lots of details, even in the snow. Very nice!
Kim

Color or B&W cold is cold! And this looks very cold and great contribution to Friday's theme. I heard that Oregon got a lot of snow yesterday, when I live in Portland we got some snow but the problem is they only have something like two snow plows for the whole city. TFS.

Hi Ron,

The snow is framing well the truck. The point of view is showing the détails and colours of the truck and of the trees covered with snow. It is looking cold and damp. A nice contribution to the Friday's theme, have a nice day.

Pierre

Hi Ron, Bonsoir,

Nice POV.,details and excellent to the so cold theme,
A sharp and clear presentation..
Nicely done..Michel

Hi Ronald, Great choice of this truck surrounding by heavy snow for the Friday Theme. It is really cold. The red colour give a taste of fire or warmth to those feel cold. Nice composition and POV along with nice light. Thank for sharing
Anna

Good decision not to convert to B&W. Without the colour it would lose some impact. Nice entry to theme.
regards
David

Bom dia Ron,
Looks like an icebreaker stuck in the snow. It will come to no border despite the "frontier" name. Very good entry for this theme.
Here in Rio we are at 40 degrees Celsius. Neither the icecream are so cold...

Hello Ronald, only just enough space to get through!
I like the tight crop with the snow covered trees framing the top of the shot, and the textured snow surrounding the vehicle.
Good idea to keep the red of the lights, they seem to draw the eyes into the picture.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Ron
My eyes first goes to the reflection of two people on the back of the vehicle and I couldn't help from laughing. I have a feeling it was one of your funny art again. I even think that the vehicle was pasted, I'm not sure. But its no doubt a great contribution to the theme.

Great shot, the red from the tail lights really adds a crisp spot colour to the entire photo. The tones have almost an HDR feel without the sometimes grittiness/dirtiness that HDR is plagued with. TFS!
