[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
For the theme ... musicians have great facial expressions when they're performing.

This is Peter Rowan, who is kind of an old bluegrass legend. I was fortunate to see him several times last summer at the Winnipeg Folk Festival.

Only a slight crop here, and a little vignette added.

Have a great weekend everyone.

It is really an intense expression on the face of this singer, well seen

Well done Trudy!! nice work on this! Wonderful photo, love the darker tones, the vignetting is very nice! Nice posting for the theme!

Well done Trudy, you managed to capture a moment euphoria, that I can relate too...."I do sing also and often".

I like the tight crop, and you show, enough elements to suggest what's happening "part of the guitar", "the microphone", yet living plenty of space to that beautifull face expression. I do like the vignetting effect too...it helps to frame the image, and bring attention to the main subject.

Nice and well balance white color, and good skin tone, warm, nore too blue nore magenta. The browns and earth tones, come out well...warm yet rich. Good saturation and very well exposed shot...good control on the whites and highlights still, the dark tones, come out full of details, and are strong and rich. Yet the luminosity of this image, is high and strong.

Well done Trudy.

Hi Trudy, there's no doubt of whom we're viewing, this is a musician & a singer. I like the partial view of the guitar & the one hand on its strings, you caught him at an emotional moment, with perfect facial expression,he's into that song for sure. The tight crop works well for me,my attention is on the performer. Hi Trudy,
An interesting facial expression from this singer! He's singing from his heart, that's a Maltese saying! A very sharp portrait with good use of available lighting. Maybe the vignette around is creating a nice dramatic atmosphere.
Well done,

Francis Xavier
