You're right about the name Jack...the mind boggles.
Classic rule of thirds image, guaranteed Honours at any camera club.
Evocative photo, sailing towards the setting sun, wondering what the morrow will bring.
Cheers,
Pete.

This is a beautiful sunset. I love the way the light hits the side of the ship. It was a good idea to use hdr to bring out the details prviously hidden in the shadows. Nice pov and lovely colours. I hope you dont mind but I have experimented and have provided a workshop showing my results. (looking at the the result I could have sharpened before posting but I didnt want to oversharpen)
regards
David

Hi Jack,
Beautiful sunset shot against the sun with this splendid reddish reflection of the glaring sphere. Nice HDR treatment to produce this marvelous atmosphere.
Great details in the cabin and perfect exposure presentation.
My best regards,

Francis Xavier

Love the golden light and exposure you have achieved in this scene, dear Jack!

Great sharpness and perfect clarity with amazing colors.
The POV and DOF are well done, and reflections on the surface of the water are well caught.
Great relaxing scene all in all!

Greetings,
Paras

Hi Jack,

You're capturing well this seascape from ship by a good angle and rich color tone, so it's impressive to see calm sea of sunset and straight light's belt projected to the sea. It's impressive in small surf and color layers in the sky, too.
This is peaceful and sentimental photograph.

Regards,
mikio
