A handheld shot (f/5.6 to get shutter speed 1/6 sec) of the Rainbow bridge from the restaurant on top of world-famous Skylon Tower Niagara Falls. Rainbow Bridge is the Gateway between the US & Canada Cities of Niagara Falls ! Construction of the Rainbow Bridge started in May of 1940 and opened November 1st 1941. The deck of this bridge is 202 feet (61.5m) above the water and 950 feet (289.5m) in length. The water current under this bridge averages 26-30 miles per hour. The water depth is in excess of 175 feet (53m). In one minute it is estimated that six billion (6,000,000,000) pounds of water cross under the Rainbow Bridge. The bridges abutments are 50 (15m) feet above the water to avoid damage from ice in the river which incidentally destroyed the previous Honeymoon Bridge in January of 1938.
PP. Minor adjustments and sized for TL

Hi Vic

A good birds eye view although I would level the horizon or crop out the sky in the top left corner. Excellent sharpness & I envy you having visited Niagara. I turned south at Calgary. Tfs!

Hello Vic,
That's a beautiful looking arch bridge at enormous elevation. If this is called rainbow bridge, why don't you paint it's arch in rainbow colors. A beautiful shot had been taken from excellent PoV. Well done my friend, thanks for sharing.
Best Wishes,

Hello Vic-

Very nice view and capture of the bridge. My only comment about the image is that my eyes are drawn equally into three places: the bridge, the two tall bldgs on the bg, and the large portion of green on the right side. IMHO, minor cropping can do the trick creating a hierarchy of focus. I did a workshop (see what you think) otherwise the color quality is good, details are sharp and light managemnt is excellent.

Hello Vic, another view from Niagara Falls, and and a new view for me.
Where are the Falls in relation to this view?
A thoughtful composition with both sides of the bridge clearly visible.
There are lots of details to take in.
I tend to agree with Chris, that either a straightened horizon or cropping out the sky would be a minor improvement.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hello Vic
Beautiful POV and lovely scene captured with superb DOF and details while the diffused light adds more attraction to your composition.
Best Wishes

Hi Vic,
A very interesting high POV to capture this landscape shot where the bridge is dominating the whole story.
Nice troubled water passing from beneath and the considerable depth into the perspective.
Good light management and a neat presentation.
Best regards,

Francis Xavier

Looks like a bright sunny day, why the slow speed? Great pov and good dof with nice details. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

Hi Vic,
Nice view with such high POV!
Good colors and lighting!
A little rotation to the right is needed!
1/6 in your note or 1/60 sec in your exif?!
Best wishes

Hi Vic,I like that your chosen viewpoint, let's us the viewer, take in so much of the scenery of this location near the falls
I guess that would be a good lookout point, over on the left river bank,to view Niagra Falls?I also like that you included one of the sightseeing boats, ready to take its passengers up close to the falls, you also give a good view of the American side & its border crossing. I think the background could do with a touch of contrast, looks a little hazy,& the sunshine bridge is at an upwards angle,I guess if you were to straighten it out you would loose a little of the building at the top third right. I did a little WS to show what I mean may be cropped a little to much .Hope you approve.

Wonderful view. I thought it might have been the McInaw bridge at first. I have taken shots that have included the Skylon Tower but I think that you may have a fairly rare perspective that the majority of tourists do not see. TFS
