|Winter and the Rocky Mountains|
While looking for photo opportunities, the fog cleared away which left a beautiful frost on the trees. The mountains look hazy from ice crystals that are lingering in the air. I thought this was a nice view from the Wildcat Hills Road.

Beautiful scenery, I was too busy and didn't get the chance to get out when we had the thick hoarfrost. I like how the contours of the hills divide the image in layers and wonder what is the name of that prominent mountain in the background center. I have the feeling that increasing the contrast a bit during post-processing could have given the extra kick to this image. I have never heard to the Wildcat Hills Road and need to figure out where it is. The hoarfrost gives the trees a very strange appearance, slightly surreal. Is it possible that your landscape is slanting towards the right?
Interesting point of view from Cochrane, I gotta check it out since I live in NW Calgary, very close to it.
I think this season is pretty much dead regarding photographic opportunities in this area but you managed well Janice.
