|Nothing very extraordinary or special to say about this photo , simply that i like it , the title is nothing to brag about either....I cropped a good part of the original which i lost when my hard disc failed this last spring , i was able to retrieve this one from a CD i had burned prior to the 'crash'. I am not so sure if the crop works well in its present state as i recall having taken several shots of these ducks but since they were quite far from the edge of that huge body of water formed by flooded land during the spring thaw of snow a year ago .I thought showing too much water reduced the visual impact on the ducks themselves, iso 80 , f/6.3 , 1/500 , the data says the zoom was set at 69.7 mn , i doubt very much it's exact , it was fully extended at 12X , even that wasn't sufficient to get a fair close-up , it's the crop thit was taken on a very fine day , contrast boosted , sharpened and framed , not much else i believe, |

Sympathique prise de vue et bonne mise en page pour présenter ces deux colverts.
Merci du partage.

I think your PP worked well here to isolate these two ducks. They are sharp and crisp and show well against the neutral colour of the water.
" Ok " it is an unusual format :-) but it works
I would make the heads a bit lighter.
my only real " but " : you have a ( red ) colour noise on the left and right edge.
Maybe it had something to do with the blowup of the photo ?
A nice sense of movement in this shot Its simple and I also like the reflections Nice work

Greetings Carol! I have returned after a prolonged absence - my dental degree is now over! I was disappointed to see so few comments on this photo. It really is a good picture! Very fitting title - the composition is beautiful in its simplicity. You did a good job with post-processing.
