[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken from the docks just off downtown Victoria, I spotted this gentleman staining the woodwork on his boat. It was a very overcast day which provided me with nice, even lighting. Since the sky wasn't very pretty, I concentrated on taking shots such as these, taking advantage of the diffused light.

Pretty much straight out of the camera. The only adjustment made in PS was applying a very gentle S-curve to boost contrast a little, and sharpened slightly.
