HISTORY OF LE BALUCHON

The Baluchon Ecology-Outdoors Concept was established October 26, 1982 by seven adventure-seeking, nature-loving students, Louis Lessard, a biology student, and Yves Savard, a graphic student. With this initiative behind it, Le Baluchon really got going in December 1982, when Hydro-Quebec ceded it the commercial rights to the old Damphousse Mill. In the meantime, Le Baluchon saw the arrival of two other individuals who were to play an important role in the development of this exceptional resort, Ms. Céline Lessard and Mr. Gilles Lessard.

During the following months Le Baluchon Corporation confidently built up its reputation, successively obtaining the commercial rights to the Magnan Falls, Trembles Falls, Damphousse Falls as well as those on the Sabot de la Vierge Archipelago.

With considerable public support exceeding all expectations the corporation came up with the idea of establishing a multi-purpose tourist resort on its site.

Have a nice week end.

Regards,

Hello Josee!
Very good point of view and lovely place!
If you don't mind, I will try to do an WS.
Best regards!
Lili

...I return... :)

Hi Josée,
Great Black&White composition, the fence acts as a nice lead in to the hut, the contrast is fine although the overall impression is a bit dark in my opinion. Nevertheless a great contribution to the theme!
Hans

Bonjour Josse
Amicalement

Hello Jose,

This is an idyllic place, Josee!
I like your pov, using the heavily textured fence as a lead-in. A sharp image and good composition!
I think the w/s works well to give it that bit of extra brightness.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Many thanks for your kind feedback on 'Pocket Rocket'. I cropped it close to the front so that I could make the smoke come over the border. I hope that explains a little, my friend.

Wonderful contribution to the Friday Theme - B & W is always a challenge - the contrast is critical - Your sky is well captured but the lower part of the image is a bit UE.

Dan

Lovely perspective, Josee. Very good POV with the fence leading to the barn or house.
Cheers!
Freddie :)

Hi Josee, fascinating B&W composition with old barn, splendid light, very well done, have a good Sunday, ciao Silvio

Good morning Josee

What a delightful shot, a very pretty rural scenic view with good contrast and well suited to B/W, Interesting notes too.

Lovely capture and an excellent idea for the theme

TFS and for joining in sorry for the delayed visit.

Kind regards Helen

Hi Josee, here you got a nice shot. I like this junk place which makes the pic more into drama. Well done. Sothy

Bravo

I just lovely the clarity here, José. The composition is stunning with the angle of the fence just perfect. The POV you have used makes if feel as if one can go for ever into the sky. Bravo.

Amitiés sincères
Wanda

Kli

Outstanding b&w picture! Excellent tonalities and clarity! Congratulations!
TFS!

Hi Josse,

Amicalement.
Robert
