Canada Day : Time: 13:34 hrs

We left Highway 218 . We joined highway 132 just West of the village of Saint-Vallier. ( sorry for my mistake on the title !) Highway 132 is one of the oldest road of the country. From the United States border ( NY State ) across Cornwall, Ontario, it is following downstream the south shore of the Saint-Lawrence river, to go around the Gaspesian Peninsula and close the buckle at Sainte-Flavie ( The Gateway to the peninsula ) .

So we took the panoramic road between Saint-Vallier and Saint-Roch-des-Aulnaies, and enjoy the old villages. One of the most enjoyable pleasure to travel at this time of the year is the sight and scents of blooming wild flowers . This period is very short however , since the lawn mowers are cutting everything down in early July. It is a bit a shame as the perfumes are often subtil and gentle. Much more pleasant than the smell of manure (^_^) so often covering the fields….
I could have taken this almost anywhere along the 500 kms of road we covered that day. Flowers were everywhere. Therefore the title chosen.

So I took time to enjoy some views on our way down , like here . Let me dedicate those wild flowers to my french colleagues Coquelicot and Marylou (^_^).

Back tonight with my own mail. Got to go to work now.

Technically . Image uncropped. Simply resized, sharpened, framed and titled.

Good morning Robert

Absolutely beautiful capture here, crystal clear and stunning scenery with so much to look at.Superb notes too

TFS kind regards Helen

Hi Robert. Beautiful natural bouquet. Great colour and DOF, bringing the b/ground interest into the shot. Lovely light also. Very well done.
Regards, Steve.

Hello Robert,
How lovely to be able to see so many wild flowers. They make an idyllic scene! The low angle works paricularly well. Nice composition and detail. I really like the way the grasses stand proud of the flowers.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Robert,
A beautiful landscape here my friend! I like how you captured the fence along with the wildflowers. The clouds give this some great depth. I think it's a shame that someone would mow these!
Nice work,
Scott

Bonjour Robert
