Nice shot!!!
You have the colored version of this place?
I think that the sky was very blue this day...
I liked this B&W version...
Congratulations!

It looks like it could have been in 1941 Guy. I like the use of the yellow filter, I have to get myself one of these.

This is really a nice image Guy. 1941 - Ha! The yellow filter added a nice contrast in the shot. Very good!

Was about to say Guy you doing well you don't look that old
:-), but i do agree this could have been taken 60 years ago. Love this shot your composition is perfect the man on the lower vertical the steps leading into the shot, everything works. Maybe a bit of sepia to add to the age feel, what do you think. Might try a workshop. But classically good landscape picture of a beautiful view. Well done.

Peter

A very beautiful photo Guy! Both the angle and the compostion are fantastic and the use of the yellow filter was a brilliant idea. Very nice work!

Hey Guy, you have some really kick a** point of views. The angles you choose and compostions are fantastic. The tones in this photo are of something aged and it makes for a wonderful feel. That yellow filter is nice. Great job!
Question: Are you sure your not a time traveler? LOL.

Salut Guy!

Bravo!

Mmm... I think lens distortion really creates a nice effect with the large tower, Guy. Did you use a gradient filter on the sky here ? TFS.

Very nice composition. I love how the skys' color fades up. Gives it a great effect. Actually the guys outfit could make him pass from back in 41 - ha ha. Good work!

The B/W certainly makes it look old. Great angle and composition. Well done.

I like the point of view you used to shoot this picture, and having just the one person in the frame making it very striking to the eye. The b&w us excellent in this kind of photo. Great composition.

Bonjour Guy,

Excellent photo Guy, capturing / creating a real atmosphere through your low POV, composition and use of B&W.

I just have to comment on this beautiful photo. I find the tonal values on this photo very good, from the darkest shadows to it's highlights and done very clearly with very good exposure. You did well also on the cropping. If you cropped it some more at the bottom this will look squatty and crushed. Very nice work Guy.

Also, I want to thank you for your comments on my photo, "Reflection" i appreciate it.
