This has not the delicassy of the japonese food Adam has shown us but it is good. It is a typical meal served in a sugar shack during spring. Guaranteed that you won't be hungry after such a meal. Starting at the left you will find an omelette, mashed potatoes, baked beans, meat pie, porc meatballs and sauce, then what we call "oreilles de crisse" which is some kind of bacon, ham, sausage. And the desert will be sugar pie, pancakes, and "grand père" which is some kind of dumpling cooked in hot maple syrop. No need to say that you will eat this covered with maple syrup. The contrast of salted and sweet is good. Something like 4000 calories in a single meal.... Bon appetit!

This one is much more my style! Adam´s food seems very good but i never tasted Japanese food so i´m afraid of the tast! Thanks for the prescription, i´ll probably try this one!

I think Japanese food Adam presents us is more elegant and charming than this, but you know something...it´s just food!

This looks a bit like a traditional Scottish breakfast. Some people call it "heart attack on a plate" Not my sort of thing. It`s a nice shot, a little bit dark in places.

LOL! Eh bien, ça semble appétissant comme tout. C'est votre fourchette? Quel prix était ce succulent repas? En tout cas, je trouve que c'est bien fait, la lumière est bien rendue et les couleurs sont bien franches.

Poor Adam and he see this photo :)

Well done

What a great hearty breakfast. I bet a farmer would enjoy this. I like the way you have filled the frame with the plate of food. The fork seems a bit lost though, as it is a dark colour. Perhaps if it were placed next to those wonderful fluffy eggs, it would be more visible.
Great job.

I've had breakfasts like this one a few times on my travels during the U.S. and Canada. They are the total opposite of what you would be served in Central Europe, but I've come to thoroughly enjoy them, It is advisable though for the rest of the day, or the following days, to plan for some hiking or other calorie-consuming activities ;-) A very appetizing shot with a fine descriptive note, Nina.

Nice to see you post over here as well.

Cela me penser qu'il faudra que je poste sur ce site la tarte al djote, spécialité d'où je vis... Les calories sont aussi nombreuses que dans ce plat ci, je pense! Bravo pour cette photo, Nina!

Hey, my kind of eating. I like the idea of a food shot, but of course the shot would be somewhat less without the notes, and yours are excellent. After the heart attack, only about 1 meal a month like this for me (sigh). Good job. I like the beans and spuds best....lol
