[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Close to the village of Ste-Agathe (70km from Quebec City) there a small park and the Becancour river runs through it. The main attraction of the park is the waterfall you see in the middle of the photo. Many people are going there, during the summer and at the beginning of the automn, for a look to the waterfall or a nice hike around the park. In the winter time only a few ski maniacs and crazy photographers are going there.
The park is home for various birds species and wild animals.

For the capabilities of this camera, Marc, I think there's a slight problem here, but I'm not sure what it was. Don't know if it was oversharpened or failure to sharpen or if the camera moved a bit during the exposure. This 'should' have been dead-center perfect with this with nice dof. I hope that you'll go here again since it's close by and give us some other views and scenes! Yeah, ya crazy photographer, go there this winter and give us some winter shots! :)

Un beau cadrage bien serré Marc, on a tout ce qu'il est nécessaire de voir et pas plus. Excellent point de vue aussi! Le couple permet d'avoir une juste idée des proportions et de la taille de cette rivière tumultueuse. Un beau travail!

It looks quite tranquil and peaceful there, cold temperatures notwithstanding! I've found photography in locations like this very challenging, strong contrasts and massive colour shifts from sun to shade.. This one looks quite neutral, you've done well.

Marc, I like this picture of yours, it looks like a flood is coming through the path, I am glad that did not happen but the effect is there for sure, which creates a good dynamism and composition to your picture, very good PoV,

Ha! Quelle surprise de voir une photo d'un attrait naturel de ma région native. Belle composition. Le couple ajoute une échelle plus grandiose au canyon de la rivière.
