[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
With too little time for photography these past weeks, I have had to dig into my archives for this one taken last year.
I love the way close-ups of flowers reveal the tiny details that usually escape us.
PP: using the magnetic lasso, I selected the overexposed window area, darkened it and added a warming filter to that section alone
Thanks for visiting and have a Merry Christmas everyone

nice floral study

Best regards, Daniel

Very good shot of the Christmas Cactus. The details are all there. Nice lighting, and well done on the warming filter.

Hello Silke,
Lovely colours and lines!
The light is most pleasant, and the close-up work is skillfully done...
And most of all... A Merry Christmas to you!

Hi Silke,
Fantastic macro photograph of the lovely flower. Excellent, crisp details show through beautifully. Your PP work is well done as I wouldn't have noticed unless mentioned in the notes, which is a testament to your ability.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Cheers, Todd

Hello Silke.
Beautiful colors in this flower image.
Merry Christmas to you.

Superb capture of a beautiful flower.
Well done.

Hello Silke,
Have a Merry Christmas too ;) This is something beautiful that you are offering us today. I really like those great details, composition and POV. I might have run the BG trough a noise reduction's device though as I think is it a little "grainy". Anyway, this is still a nice picture and a great subject. Thanks,

hello Silke
wonderfull sharpness and very soft lighting (and very effective)

Merry Xmas to you too!

Great presentation indeed, the colours fire out to you, the position is so eye pleasing, welldone.

What a beautiful cactus flower. You choose well for your post. I like that you were able to get so close and not lose any clairty and detail. The PP really works on this one also.
Nice job.
