This is one of the MUST to explore when you go to visit Niagara Falls in Ontario Canada.

The Maid of the Mist is a diesel-engined boat that holds up to 600 passengers that departs from the Canadian docks past the base of the American Falls, then literally right into the center of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. You are surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Niagara Falls no matter which direction you look! Two Maid of the Mist boats departs every 15 minutes. Maids V1 and V11 are each 80 feet long with 350 horsepower engines. The enormous force carries the vessels through the current with ease. Each passenger will receive a souvenir raincoat to keep you dry from the mist, as you will inevitably get wet being so close to the Niagara Falls. The duration of the ride is a half hour and is the ultimate experience in Niagara Falls fun!

Hi Anna,
What a thrill!
Very troubled waters of the Niagara Falls.
The two diesel engined boats carrying passengers to see the spectacle.
Nice softness created by the rush of the waters.
Well doen,

Francis Xavier

I like the look of power that the water holds. You captured it well. The image is nice due to the uniqueness of the subject taken. nice and almost inviting for the peace of the mist of the thrill of the falls.

As if petals caught in a whirlpool, they appear so small amid this waterfall of steer power.

We can see why the boat is so well named, the spray from those powerful falls certainly give off a strong mist Anna,I guess that's why everyone is issued a blue waterproof:-)It must indeed have been exciting to get up close to these huge & powerful falls.TFS

Hi Anna,
I love this image really showing the immensity and power of nature. The little people in there blue colored rain suits against the forces of nature.Neat composure with the two boats in the foreground.

Ciao Anna, fascinating misty composition, splendid light, fantastic sky, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to ride this tour boat with the water roaring down from the falls. I like the effect of the mist on the mood though. Good pov and dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.
