|“Good overcomes evil” is the name of this photograph. It was taken in the community of Bay Bulls near the church. It shows this dramatic statue hidden by a camouflage of trees obviously not in view for many years. I have not seen a statue like this before because it shows how violent to struggle can be come between good and evil. |
I took photographs of this statue from many angles and maybe I should have used a flash? I decided to show this photograph in sepia to try and bring out that violence may not be the appropriate means of conflict resolution. However when you deal with the devil made the violence is the answer?
Anyway enough of philosophy and psychology, this picture stood out in my mind in a very forceful way whatever the reason.
This photograph was cropped, Monochrome in channel mixer, in variations a green tint, Sharpened in lab color U.S. M. 80, 2, 1, and saved for the web
