[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken at the Global Village. I positioned the shot so that the dancer's head dress covers the colored strobe light. The dance movement was so fast, and the stage was dark, I set my ISO to 1600. Sorry about the noise.

Hello, Yancy -
Great timing to capture the dancer in the moment that his head dress was positioned in front of the directional light; that must have taken patience and many attempts before success, but it resulted in an eye-catching effect. The image contains lots of energy and is nicely composed. The slight blur of the arm and shoulder indicate motion, but the profile and head dress are sharply shown. I think the noise is quite minimal and does not detract from the image at all. Well done.

This is excellent!!!!! I'll add this to my favorites!

The light is superb as are the colours!! Well composed, a slightly unusual angle and the simple white frame works well here in helping to bring out that colour. The grain is not an issue!

This is superb regarding colors, POV and an excellent portrait...a candid shot, yet artistic!
A very sharp image with perfect light management.
ISO 1600 is well managed and the result is marvelous.

Good shot, why sorry about the noise? Noise can be great for adding atmosphere to a shot, to me this is quality photography. Phil.

Excellent shot,timing is spot on,the flare from the light really adds to your image,you have really captured the atmosphere.

Hi Yancy, well thought out shot, it almost looks like he has a light coming out of his headdress. The noise is not too bad as the bg has a soft light. Fiona

What a wonderful catch with such amazing light and action, Yancy!

The picture is well taken with nice sharpness and from a well chosen focus.
The sweating dancer adds action into the scene, however, an elegant white frame suits well to the scene.

Its a grate shot,because involvement of dancer action grate colorful back light among dark stage.
