Another set of the people who grills kebabs when we visited the desert safari.

Kebab (also occasionally transliterated as kebap, kabab, kebob, kabob, kibob, kebhav, kephav) is a food dish, usually meat, made on a skewer or spit.[1] The name is used in a variety of Asian and African cuisines, and sometimes refers to a meat patty. The best-known kebab dishes in the West consist of grilled meats wrapped in bread accompanied by lettuce and tomatoes with garlic sauce.

The most common kebabs include lamb and beef, although others use goat, squid, chicken, fish, or shellfish. Observant Muslims and Jews do not use pork for kebabs because of religious and cultural prohibitions, but pork kebabs can be found in Albania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Greece, United Kingdom and India, especially in the state of Goa. Like other ethnic foods brought by immigrants and travellers, the kebab has become part of everyday cuisine in multicultural countries around the globe.

A very interesting photojournalistic shot - great light and you've caught the look of concentration on this man's face very well. It's simple but a very telling shot.

Une photo qui a une âme, avec cette lumière tamisée qui exprime beaucoup. Très belles couleurs chaudes. Superbe atmosphère. Photo ajoutée au thème "photos with soul".

Hi ...I like the light ...nice work.

Roger

Great shot, does really captures our eye and makes u wonder about the person on it. Good job.

Great observation of light, colour, and texture in this shot - with the swirling ambience of the smoke. You caught this at just the right time, with the light creating an edge on his face, but also catching his hand lower in the frame, which has the effect of lifting what would otherwise be superfluous negative space.
Great job

Hi Jr, One more name for Kebab is Kubedeh. I ditto all the positive comments from TL, especially I like the transition of light to black across the shot. You did great by capturing the moment and the heat that the cook is dealing with. Well done... tfs
