Thanks for the idea Linda!! I got my thinking hat on for this one..

Anyone know how/what this one is?

This is an unadulterated RAW file - ONLY PP was a crop and slight boost of saturation as I already shot in 'VIVID' mode.

1.8seconds at f9, remote flash and tripod with 85mm lens.

Hi David

WOW ! so strong colors ! I love it
I think it's ice floes ?
Graphic and artistic result.

So good for my eyes.
Creative work David like a very design painting.

Olá David,
We are begining early!...
This post is an important demonstration from "tha hazard artistry" :o).
Good graphical effects and nice simplicity.

I have no idea what this is! Almost looks like glass blocks! Really intense color, perfect for the theme! Can't wait to see what this really is!
B-)

Hi-

Interesting photo with lovely translucent colours in a sea of abstract brilliance on display. I like the white BG and the OE has brought a creative twist to the presentation. "cool" shot!

cheers,

Dilshan

Hi David

It doesn't get too much more intense! Good sharpness, saturation & framing. Nice entry in the Friday intense colour theme. Tfs!

Colored ice cubes? (colored without a "U" :)
Whatever it is, you did a good job of coming up with something for the theme. Fantastic vivid abstract - it jumps out from the thumbnails! Great job.

Hi David,

Very imaginative and colourful. The intense colours and irregularities are quite interesting. I don't have much of an idea as to how you provided the RGBY paint dabs. Perhaps, you started with a white page and turned paint pots upside down on the sheet like ink stamps. You might have used ice or glass somehow also. In any case, you certainly submitted a good entry for the theme this week. TFS.

Regards,
John

Hello David,

Mmm, it looks like a pattern that has been printed with a strange cube shape and wet paint. The flash appears to have reflected on the wet areas.
It is certainly has vivid colours and makes a good contribution to theme.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)
Sorry, didn't realise that I'd run out of smilies!

Hi David,
Nice presentation of great colors and no idea what is it,
Excellent work and details,
good sharpness and light..
excellent done.
Michel

Hi, David -
Very creative, nice graphic composition with wonderful colors. My guess is that these are ice cubes with food coloring - the highlights look wet, plus the shapes and contours are slightly irregular (which makes the image even better). Great imagination, well done!

Hello David, these colours are SO intense, they fairly shout out from the screen!
I like the random pattern of the colours. There are all sorts of possibilities as to what the objects could be....are you going to let us know?
The minimum sized frame works perfectly.
Tfs, regards Jean.

David just so U know I had not seen anyone's response to your question, before I had opened this shot I was sure that this was ice cubes with color added and shot on a light stand of some sort.

I still have not looked yet so will go with the above. Really like the idea work you put into doing this .... these will certainly add color to any drink if i'm right ...lol
Colors are vivid, BG is perfect for this and detail shows well in the cubes(ice)

Hi David!

This is really fun!
I love the abstract nature of the end result and it's lovely to see that so many agree with me!
Great colours in these ice cubes :)

Hi David,

I just love "quizz"! Frozen fish eyes...))) would be my best bet..))))

Nice graphic shot. If I was stricky talking the technical aspect, I would say that the contrast is a "little" high, caused by the background that whould be a little too bright(over).... but it does work very nicely in this shot, and I do like the extra luminosity.

It's actually a very appealing shot, visually. Nice work once more.

Hi David,

Hard to say what it is, except it is a nice contribution for the theme. Nice vivid colors. TFS.

David,

Square popsicles seen from the top? (Always warm enough for them in Dubai right?):) Not sure David, but I like it. Colors are very intense. Very modern and abstract. White background works well with what ever it is!! :) Lisa

hello,
What a fantastic shot! I like this colourful PP work.
Best wishes,
Achim

Terrific idea and colors that pop. Creative, eye-catching, modern, artsy, and technically well done. How did you deal with the melting issues?!
