eh bien voilà une architecture qui me surprend et qui me semble-t-il adapte bien à notre époque les éléments traditionnels.Votre pov (j'aurai dû écrire pdv) rend bien cette dissémination qui garde quelque chose d'intimiste et que je préfère aux buildings tout en hauteur .J'aime bien la couleur et la texture marbrée du revêtement des murs et votre ciel semble traduire ce que vous disiez du temps et qui m'a fait penser un moment à une escapade que j'avais faite sous la chaleur torride de Furnace Creek dans la "Vallée de la Mort".Donc ne portant que des jeans, j'attendrai un peu avant d'aller à Dubaï :)))))))))) et me contenterai de votre belle photo.

Great shot, looks alot like an HDR. Nice capture of the natural tones, the lighting is excellent too. Seems very clear, the clouds have certainly played their part. Nice work.

three years in the making,it must be quite a joy to visit.I can see you on the water taxis enjoying all the views & architecture this new city has to offer.
I like this image to the WS one,the colors are more suited for this location,I like that the courtyard or street is in the shadows, while the buildings architecture is detailed & bright. A peaceful mood you have presented with this scene.

Hi Suzy,
A wonderful picture of Jumairah, the warm light creates a wonderful mood. It's like a dreamy impression of the Middle East well captured and presented. The rule of thirds is well visible with the alley nicely positioned on one third of the left. One nit pick though, the shadows are quite dark. Made a WS were I adjusted the highlights and shadows, so with some increased brightness of the shadows on the foreground even this fine picture is improved.

Hi Suzy, instantly I was drawn to the wooden carts/stalls? looks like they are being ushered out of what looks like a ghost town, then I took a step back and saw the amazing detail in the buildings, they almost look too perfect to be real!!! and then there's the moody sky, even more sinister promise than the deserted streets. This shot definetely has tention like a showdown is about to take place.

Possibly the most technically sound image I have seen on TL, tfs.

Nice capture with wonderfull clouds. Great light with the sun going down. Shadows are a little deep, but can probably be recovered in post processing. Espacially if you shoot also in RAW. Beautifull contrast between the warm colors on the building and the coolness of the sky. TFS.
