Captured at the 'Dubai Festival City'

While waiting for a sunset capture, seagulls were flying all over the place. Tried to experiment on how to capture the action. Set my camera to 'shutter priority' and focusing to AFC continuous tracking. Manage to shoot 25 panning shots, 7 are quite good and this one is better worth posting for comments & suggestions for shooting action & sports.

Minor PP work
Hue/Saturation (S+8)
Motion blur
Re size/sharpened/framed

Thanks for the peek!

Hi Ramon,
A nice seagull in flight infront of this marvelous building with nice symmetrical windows!
I like the blurred effect in the corners giving more impact to the bird.
You managed to produce a 3D effect!
Very sharp and accurately exposed.
Best regards,

Francis Xavier

Very sharp and nce composed.
Beautiful seagul .

hi ramon
very good shot, the bird really stands out on the blurred b/g,wellpresented.

nice shot! very tricky and genius approach here. you shot the bird at 1/2000 to freeze the action and get the whole picture in sharp focus then applied motion blur and i find this very effective! nice composition. very different from your previous posts. thanks for sharing and putting those useful notes

hi there,
