Courtyard of the famed Blue Mosque of Istanbul with a few Turks and assorted tourists milling about. Hope you like (unless you are 'bobsmith' who of course won't)
Monochrome blue effect achieved by turning the photo black and white and toned blue.Tha's the extent of PP.

My dear Janos

A much more demanding subject than your last effort. But it does appear to be an attempt to rescue a poor photograph and make it look creative.
Obviously, from the shadows, the sun is very high in the sky causing harsh shadows. Very difficult conditions best left to a real expert. But I don't think you or your camera coped with these conditions. There is evidence of attempts to recover detail from some dark shadows. This has led to noise, very noticeable under the two arches on the right. I assume the arches on the left were irrecoverable. This of course has led to the image being imbalanced, what with the right hand side having detail and the left hand side remaining very dark. The person in front has his feet nearly cut off and only half a person on the left. This is a schoolboy error from someone of your calibre. The lady on the left is also very dark and has no detail, personally I don't like this.

It's not that I don't like the image, it's just that I think it has serious shortcomings. I know you have great knowledge and experience and I have tried to be as constructive as I can. So maybe this won't be helpful or welcome.
My comments are without malice and can be accepted or rejected as you see fit.
Your friend Bob

Hi Janos,
I don't think the blue tinge does anything for the image, the most obvious thing to me is the tower sloping to the right, as are the three people below it
cheers
Jack

Hi Janos, Technically this image is nicely taken with fine angle and composition., but I believe there had an exposure issue on the original image. There has too much noise created from the PP works.
No one is perfect and picture too. Cheers
Anna

Hi!
I like it very much, beautiful daily life scene and beautiful colors...in blue :-)

Regards,

Angelo

Why is the tower cut off?

And the man's feet?

This is a site for all to comment on Janos. Take the rough with the smooth heh?
