Kuşadası is a resort town on Turkey's Aegean coast and the center of the seaside district of the same name in Aydın Province. The name comes from 'kuş' (bird) and 'ada' (island) as the peninsula has the shape of a bird's head (as seen from the sea). Since Byzantine times it has been known as Ephesus Neopolis, Scala Nuova, becoming Kush-Adasi at the beginning of the 20th century.
Kuşadası is mostly devoted to tourism today, especially after the renovating of its port to attract huge cruise ship passengers. The seafront is now converted to bars and cafes and looks like an modern-European town. (See Wikipedia for more info)
But if you walk a bit on the hills, you can see some remnants of the old city. I like such old houses. But how long they will resist ?

This motive is wonderful, Catherine, I already visited Kusadase, but sure haven't seen this old house, but thanks god you did and made such a beautiful shot of it.
I love the angle and the warm light. The man brings life into the motive, very well done, thanks

Hi Catherine,
A good shot of this old house shooting it from a nice POV as to have covered both sides very well, accurate exposure with nice sharpness and details, beautiful gradient colors of the sky in BG against the warm colors in FG looks beautiful, good DOF as the narrow street lead us well to the end of the street with nice details, well done my friend.
Best Wishes

Bonsoir Catherine,

Bon dimanche :)

Hi Catherine
I do like this shot, simple but professionally captured
The architectural details and sharpness are adorable
Also the combination of warm color tone of building and cold blue of sky is fabulous
The resizing procedure is perfect; may I ask which software you've used for resizing?
Best wishes, Alireza

Bonjour Catherine,
