Beautiful portrait Hassan! I really love your use of vertical framing and cropping, the desaturation with slight sepia tones, the very rich tonalities of the shot, the excellent contrasts. Really wonderful expression too from your subject (wish you would at least give us his name) that is natural and candid yet fitting for the shot. Nice composition and balance with the hands leading the eye to the tuba, and the tuba's rythmic body leading the eye up to the face, balanced with the large end of the tuba at the upper left. Maybe I would like to see the whole end of the tuba as its being cropped off at the upper left breaks the continuity of the shot. Really wonderful lighting used that illuminates his white uniform and creates glints and shine off the tuba. Good plain background for the man to stand out against and good amount of negative space all around. I might recommend though leaving a tad more negative space above the hat. Great shot, thanks for sharing!
