Milad Tower is the tallest tower in Iran. Built in between the Shahrak-e Gharb and Gisha districts of Tehran, it stands 435 m (1,427 ft) high from base to tip of the antenna. The head consists of a large pod with 12 floors, the roof of which is at 315 m (1,033 ft). Below this is a staircase and elevators to reach the area. Milad Tower is the sixth tallest tower in the world after the Guangzhou TV & Sightseeing Tower in Guangzhou, CN Tower in Toronto, Ostankino Tower in Moscow, the Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai, and the Tokyo Sky Tree, still under construction. It is also currently (in early 2010) the 14th tallest freestanding structure in the world.

nice night shot, i like color lines with long exposure, and of course good explanation
darko

Good composition, good lead-in of the busy highway. Excellent shot.

Obviously you drive on the right side of the road in Iran Behnam , if i read persian i could almost read what towns appear on the green direction boards down to the right , well managed lighting for such a long exposure , great sky too with the tower very well lit against it , except perhaps for the oe'd signs to the side of the sharp curving highway there is perfect management throughout , thank you for sharing this remarkable nocturnal panorama of your capital city, a well presented image ,you sure are a keen photographer ,
My regards,
Carol

Hi, another country that drives on the wrong side of the road. This is a well timed shot with terrific colours. Love the tower standing out against the bg and the star street lights.Fiona

Hi Behnam,
Really excellent work. Not only the exposure setting but also the perfect timing around the blue hour shows your knowledge of photography. I am sure that the busy traffic added to the result as well, since there are tons of colored stripes on the streets. The positioning of the Milad Tower is perfect and it all adds to the splendor of the composition.
TFS,
Niek

I like the scene you have captured in this nocturnal view from Tehran, dear Behnam!

Great management of exposure which is professionally done against a blue hour.
The way you placed the Milad Tower in the frame, is praiseworthy as it makes this picture simply perfect.
The colors are pleasing to the eyes and no OE could be seen anywhere in the shot.
A well executed work!

Best regards,
Paras
