Porsche in the Desert.

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hi all,
here's another one of my dad's Porsche Carrera 4s, taken on the way back from a trip into the desert. There's some kind of oilfield in the background, complete with flare.
The original picture (which is in Workshop) was taken at dusk using a monopod and, I think, is a bit dark - I didn't have my SB800 flash then - but I liked the shot enough to play with it and this is the result.
Curves adjusted (rapidly becoming my favourite trick!)
Resized

Hi Winder,
Good compositions. Details and sharpness well focused. I can't imagine if I hv and drive this car.
Good efforts,
Geoffrey Bin Ramji
Hi John,
I must say that porsche is one of my favorite cars (especially the old 911s). This is a wonderful modern style photo with plenty of interesting colors, lines, and repetitive shapes. Since I've discovered photofiltre and post processing, I am amazed at how one can change the photo (saturation rocks!) thanks for sharing, Lisa
Hi Winder,
I think I prefer the original, although this does have some pleasing colours too it.
Cheers
Tom

Wow, I like this, the front of the Porker looks like a shark's maw! I the background is the Jebel Dukhan (Mountain of Smoke in English) and on the top is the Tropspheric Scatter Station (try saying that after a few pints). I cycled up to that the other day, 1 in 4 hill, I could not say anything at all after getting to the top! Good PP work! Cheers, Dad
