[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken in the desert in the south of Bahrain after I walked down a pristine face of windblown sand which had accumulated over the past few days of high winds. I love the textures and patterns in sand. In retrospect I think I should have include more sky to balance the picture better but hey ho, next time I'll do it better. Comments, critiques welcomed as always.

Hi Les
Curiously it left, such a perspective and colours actually kept appeal to me. Division of the frame in this form like most in-house - good work - I am greeting.

Hi Dad,

Great idea, perhaps a lower POV would have got better results kneeling or even lying on the sand would have made a better compostion to include more sky and maybe get rid of that line of rocks at the top, just footprints, sand and sky.

Cheers
Tom

Hi, Les.

I like this one a lot. If it were I, I think I should have cropped off the very bottom of the picture so that the footprints just headed towards the left-bottom corner, but that's just personal preference. Otherwise, the textures are fabulous and I love the conrast between the ochre of the sand and that incredible blue of the sky.

A great shot!

Best Wishes,

John.

Hi Les,
Wonderful colors and marvellous texture and patterns on the sand.

Very nice, I like it. Great colours and the composition works well for me, although you could perhaps crop an inch or so off the bottom of this and not lose anything. But it's good as it is.
Cheers, John.

Hi les
You're right , the patterns and textures are very interesting and the foot marks act as a comparison scale. Nice natural color of the sand. Yes, a bit of blue sky would have been nice.
Serge

Les, it didn't need more sky....

Cheers

Gary

Hi Les,
caught my eye right away in your gallery, love the textures in the sand, and the footsteps, great blue sky! TFS
