[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken with Canon 7D, 100-300 L Zoom, ISO 320 RAW image converted with CC. PP -1 exposure compensation, increased saturation in the bird and decreased/darkened background to black, crop.
This is a captive bread bird and used to human contact, it would be extremely difficult to get close enough to a bird like this in the wild. Hope you like it. Bri

Amazing portrait of this bird, it looks like an eagle, his glance is strong.
Excellent details and lighting management.

Very good. Love the pp work done. As sharp as it can be. Wish I could give it more than just a smiley face!

Hello Brian,
When we do portraits of people they are also in captivity, so no problem. This is just very beautiful. What a pleasure to view.

Great capture Brian,
excellent lighting, though I must confess I thought he was deceased, passed on, expired as John Cleese might say - so well done

Magnificent Creature, I like the way he is looking.
Very inspiring portrait Brian. I do need to try this kind of portraits. Good Luck.

Hi Brian,
With absolute sharpness and exposure, the end result -- a master piece. Although a relatively narrow contrast the subject is eye catching to say the least. Intricate details of this magnificent eagle are well portrayed and some eye reflections an added bonus. Good camera and pp work.
