'Exotic'? The reason being that this is an exotic plant growing in the garden of St.Michael's Mount where the English Channel meets the Atlantic Ocean.

Unsure as to precisely what it is...maybe a type of Agave? Anyone know please?

The granite rock of the Mount,"acts as a gigantic radiator, absorbing heat during the day and releasing it at night creating a micro-climate in which all sorts of unlikely plants flourish."
[Leaflet guide to St.Michael's Mount.]

Thanks for looking.

Hi Jean, sorry can't help with the name. What I got from viewing this image, is, aha, this must be a warm sunny location, near the tropics perhaps, would never have guessed it was close to the Atlantic Ocean. There are a couple of hot spots but not OE enough to worry about, as their presence adds to the feeling of it being a very sunny day TFS.
Best Regards

One of the Aloe or Agave species I think Jean, lots of them in our neck of the woods.

I like the lighting, it gives the plant quite a 3D look.
Nice composition with the ocean in the B/G.

Hi Jean

Good composition makes this photo a success. Plus of course good exposure and the rest....

As Bob says, this is an interesting composition and with your pov and dof makes this an attractive shot. Nicely done

Hi Jean, the plant really stands out with the soft bg and the silvery look to the ends of the leaves. Fiona
