|A red Camellia.|
A shrub that is able to flower from late autumn right through to the spring; but not necessarily on the same plant!
This is a spring flowering Camellia in our garden.
Desaturated the bg to make the most of the bright red.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Jean,you did good work on your desaturation. It is difficult to capture the different hues & details of a red flower, but not here, you have managed all with good focus. Myself I normally would remove any distraction from a flowers petals, but in this case the two small bugs aid in keeping the eye focused to the centre of your flower, well taken. TFS
ce n'est pas juste rouge;
c'est très difficile photographier la couleur rouge,mais toi t'as pu meme donner cette texture propre à cette fleur qui me donne envie de toucher
Bom dia Jean,
"A thing of beauty is a joy foverer".
It's a fine work and great picture.
A job hors concours.

Its portrayed at fine tissue paper, Jean.
Another neat idea with the desaturation around the edges.
The beauty of red Camellia by lovely expression
indeed accurate details and warm colours well done JEAN DWYER
