The harbour of St.Ives, and these small boats are waiting for the tide to turn.

A favourite place for many people, not least, many artists who love the light that St.Ives gives.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Jean
A well handled image. Its obvious the main subject is the two boats in the fore ground, and these are very well placed within the image. But the other two boats, and the buoys, add to the interest. With an assortment of buildings in the background, its difficult to know where to cut them off, but you have done this very well. The focus is good from front to back, as is the exposure. The scene also has good depth.
Overall a very good image that captures some of the essence of beach life in St Ives.

As I was going to St. Ives I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks, each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits: kits, cats, sacks and wives,
How many were going to St. Ives?

A memorable place to visit.
I like your positioning to use the boats as your subject Jean.

Bravo et amitié

Hello Jean

Now that is an easy way to park the boat. I like the POV with the clear water.. Nice color saturation also. Nice

Bom dia Jean,
This crescent of wet sand and boats moored in it is extremely beautiful and tasteful.
My greatest respects.

Hi Jean,
A nice capture of this panorama with the tide out.
I like the boats on the sand, they create a lovely atmosphere.
Nice buildings in the BG.
A Happy New Year to you and your family.
