[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This blackbird was sitting quietly in this shrub eating the berries. I saw it there, so stood watching him.The blackbird was obviously aware of me, but he sat there as still as can be and the title came to mind...."You can't see me, O.K?"
Taken in a rain soaked garden, "The Garden House" near Buckland Monachorum, near Yelverton.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Jean,
What a lovely natural frame around this blackbird! Splendid colors of its foliage while the bird is nicely position in the middle.
A very sharp image adorned with splendid light.
Good neat work.

Hi Jean

Took awhile but spotted him.
I so like the way he is surrounded by autumn leaves and red berries, making a stark contrast with eachother. Very good detail to the head and eye, i love the bunch of berries top right. tfs

Ciao Jean, not great camouflage, but lovely bird in nice pose in a beautiful natural ambientation, wonderful colors, excellent clarity and splendid light, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hi Jean, I like your way of presentation - the black bird in the autumn leaves and the red berries - is such a nice contrast - and the blurred BG enhances the scene.
Thanks for sharing - kind regards Monika

It does look like the bird is very aware of you, nice try hiding from the camera. You did a wonderful job in getting the bird and the berries in focus. Good lighting and dof with good details. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

Hi Hean
Yes, I like it. The bird and berries are very sharp is very sharp, and he seems to be looking straight at the camera. The colour of the berries complement the black bird.
I would have been tempted to crop some of the lower portion of the pic out, just to see if it improved the compostion.
Good shot

Bonjour Jean

very very well done.Perfect scene with great sharpness against the blurred bg.
best regards

Hi Jean, I like the light on the leaves beside the cheeky fellow. I bet he was sneaking the ones behind the leaves out of sight.Fiona

Hi Jean
Wonderful snap, everything is perfectly balanced, and the bird seems to be posing for you. Very nice indeed!

This is a wonderful sht with amazing light and contrasts, Jean!

Colors are natural and DOF is well captured.
The positioning of the bird within an elegant frame is well seen too.
A fantastic work!

Have a nice weekend.
