[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The newly opened Riverside Museum in Glasgow is the new location of the Glasgow Transport Museum, previously housed in the Kelvinhall. The museum, located at Pointhouse Quay on the Clyde was designed by Zaha Hadid, an Iraqi-British architect. Berthed directly outside is the Glenlee, otherwise known as The Tall Ship which is now open to the public as a museum ship. The ship was built a little further down the Clyde at the Anderson Rodger & Company Shipyard in Port Glasgow in 1896.

I like the stark contrast between the old and new of the Tall Ship and the museum and felt it lended itself nicely to a black & white medium. The photo was shot in Raw, primary editing in Aperture 3 and a diffuse glow added to the clouds in Photoshop CS4.

Nice shot Jimmy. Great POV, sharp detail, reflections and a wonderful composition and presentation in b&w. Well done. TFS, Lori
