[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this at Beamish this weekend when there with luckybry. The weather was great and it was not hard to get shots like this. I took this in colour and coverted to sepia, had to clone out a light in the window then sharpened.

Spot on Jon, could have been taken a hundred years ago.

Composition and p&p really enhance the shot.

Exposure works well too.

Hello Jon,

The signs and the cobbled street add to the nostalgic feel of your shot. It was a good idea to change to sepia for that timelesness.
I can see why you resisted cropping a little from the left, for his reflection, in the shop window, is an added bonus to the shot. Possibly room for just a tad more sharpness.

My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Jon,
Excellent shot and good PP work, the scene is spot on with no modern items at all, good choice with the sepia and nice tones - when I was there last year this guy was working in the stables with the dray horses - I notice he has his dealer boots on in this. Best wishes
Bri
