[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Queen Mary 2 docking at Liverpool. Picture taken from the heaving deck of the Mersey Ferry, "Royal Iris" (I think), on a sullen, windy day.

I took a bit of trouble to try and include Liverpool's famous "Liver Buiding" and to do my best to capture the elegant lines of the ship.

Cropped bottom of picture slightly, adjusted colour balance and contrast just a little bit.

Hi Bill,
A pretty sharp & detailed image & taken from a heaving deck, you must have braced yourself aginst something solid, well taken. You have certainly caught the lines of this
ocean liner & I like your inclusion of the buildings either side of her, helps with the scale.A very striking & strong composition.
Regards
Ron

Hello Bill,

Great pov, as you note, to include the Liver Building in your shot. I like the way that the tug? boats, in the f/g, create a natural lead to the QM2 and also give emphasis to its size.
Nice thirds composition.
The great ship is moving nicely into the shot.

My warm regards,
Bev :-)
This brings back wonderful memories of my treat of a lifetime, last year, to travel both ways across the Atlantic in the superb ship!!

Hi Bill,

Excellent shot with sharp details and great DOF. You have chosen a good POV for this interesting composition. I may have cropped the sky a little at the top but apart from that this is a superb image.

Regards

Joy

Boa tarde Bill
The inoumerous good elements that your perpective allows to see it is very interesting. I like very much the colors and the realist sharpness. It is a beautiful boat.

Hi Bill,
An agreeable POV of this enormous liner entering Liverpool's harbor. Such a comparison with the tug boats and the buildings.
A very sharp image with perfect color saturation.
This postcard is suitale for commercial purposes!
Well done for this neat work.
