|A view of old town Whitby as seen through the rigging of the Endeavor replica. HMS Endeavour, also known as HM Bark Endeavour, was a British Royal Navy research vessel commanded by Lieutenant James Cook on his first voyage of discovery, to Australia and New Zealand from 1769 to 1771. (facts gleaned from Wikipedia) In honor of one of Whitby's great photographers, Frank Sutcliffe, I converted the file to sepia tone.|

I think the sepia toning adds atmosphere and does suit the subject matter - composition works for me as well. Taken from a nice angle with the hill in the background and catching the Union Flag helps as well.
