A shot of new-build Peppercorn A1 pacific "Tornado" on a southbound service approaching Blue Anchor (West Somerset Railway). Image taken through fence adjacent to public stile.

Being as the locomotive was running tender first (as were all three steam locomotives that passed me that afternoon, I decided to make this a "going away" shot.

Hi Robert,
an unusual shot with the train going backwards as it were,
I have been looking at your gallery and you have a great selection of locomotive shots there. I note that you said the Mallard speed record was 125mph I always thought it was 126mph - I see its actually 125.88mph so we are both right
