Sunrise at St Mary's
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I went upto St Mary's loch with Don Lees a good friend to try and get a good sunrise shot so I hope that I have been successful. The sun never got much above what you see so I was slightly disapointed but only for a moment.
Three shots in raw then converted in photomatix 3
Shutter speeds were 1/125, 1/320, 1/200 |

Hi Jon,
Man, I would have loved to be there the same moment you were, to view these soft morning colours, can you imagine if there was a Piper playing, magic.Vibrant colours & Composition.
Just a wee thought, another point of view, you've lost a lot of details in the black lower mountains, if you were to tweak this area a touch,it would bring out a couple of tree silhouetes that are there & I think they might add another interest to this well taken image.
Like this one a lot Jon, almost graphical in its composition.
Like the way you have layered the image, and what amazing colours.
The composition and exposure really work for me.
Nice one.
